UPDATES, UPDATES! My friend Liza and I have just got home from hanging out at Vivo. It was nice meeting up with your good friend after so long. I still feel we have the same vibe we had eons ago during Secondary School. Haha! We had fun! Here's a Super Silly Spontaneous Video of us! Liza called me a 'Jungle Girl' due to what I was wearing....And She asked me to do an 'Avatar'-ed "Don't come back!!" at the end!! Haha! Totally spontaneous!! Ok Seriously, I'm so obsessed with Avatar.
Hon and I went on a Hot Date last night. We booked tickets to Avatar 3D and damn! It was AWESOME!!! My heart was actually pumping throughout most of the scenes. And I actually awed in amazement at the CGI graphics and animation! Wow! Just magnificent!
Sheikha's Top Ten Facts on Avatar
1. Money-minded scoundrels destroys the peace of everything. 2. I would love to ride on one of those zooming flying creatures. Universal Studios should dedicate a whole space and create Pandora with those flying birds, so that I can get a ride on them soon. =) 3. In my opinion, parents should not bring children younger than 5 years old to watch it. One cried so loudly in the cinema due to the scary creatures. 4. I thought that Jake will want to convert to a na'vi waaay before the ending and leave his old life or being a crippled behind. If only that was possible, i bet he'll do it. 5. Trudy Chacon (Michelle Rodriguez), the helicopter pilot is HOT! 6. All in all, it's ALWAYS the humans who are causing much disastrous disruption to Mother Nature. So many movies with hidden meanings are actually blaming the humans. So, please wake up, Humans! Save the Earth! 7. I would LOVE to live on Pandora. Everything is glowing and neon. Even the steps you walked on the tree would glow. Even the spinning insects glow! It's a magical world!! I want to live in it!! Disney/Universal Studios, hear my pleas! Create Pandora!!! It will be a sell-out! 8. Tsu'Tey is so humble and non-egoistic! Even when Jake steals his girlfriend, he accepts it in the end. Even when they confessed they made love, he was angry only for a short while and forgives Jake. Haizzz... the born of the soft-spot guy. 9. The war scenes made my heart thump so so so so so hard, I actually want to be in the movie and fight those nasty humans! 10. The ultimate one-liner best script goes to.....Grace's "I need to get some samples" when she was still in pain from being shot. Hehehe!
There you go!!! My Top Ten Facts on Avatar! I am now very 'kemaruk' aka obsessed with the movie that I even AVATAR MYSELF!!! Hwahwahwahwa!! I am in love with the neon-blue bodies and graphics la.... Fantasy movies always make my day!
How I avatar-ed myself..... Gorgeous blue face of Neytiri.
Eyes are the windows to the soul..... I see you.

Ok Going out with my Babe Liza now for a Girls' Day Christmas Day out!! More updates soon! Check on back!
The above video is pretty lame ass funny. Seriously, the above snippet of "Old Dog" reminds me of the good ol' days of comical adventure any child will fall in love with. Pete Hammond of Boxoffice gave the film 3/5 stars, and concluded, "Old Dogs may not reach the box office heights of Wild Hogs but its fun family friendly attitude should guarantee a healthy holiday haul." It also reminds me of the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen days when they were pre-pubertic actresses acting in "Two Of A Kind". Still remember that movie TEN years ago? Details of 'Old Dogs' Movie
Sypnosis: Two best friends — one unlucky-in-love divorcee (ROBIN WILLIAMS) and the other a fun-loving bachelor (JOHN TRAVOLTA) — have their lives turned upside down when they’re unexpectedly charged with the care of six-year-old twins while on the verge of the biggest business deal of their lives. The not-so-kid-savvy bachelors stumble in their efforts to take care of the twins (newcomers ELLA BLEU TRAVOLTA and CONNER RAYBURN), leading to one debacle after another, and perhaps to a new-found understanding of what’s really important in life.

Why my husband is the best husband in the world.....
Hubbies are the best thing that can happen on earth. Well, yes, maybe getting married is, but to know your hubby inside out is possibly the best thing that can make a marriage work. As always, SheZai still upkeep our 'forgive and forget' rule and our 'arguments' never lasted more than one day, or maybe even one hour, or maybe even so rarely nowadays. We seldom argue, which makes me worried sometimes. Sure, arguments make a marriage interesting but it has to be on both sides, like a debate. And when the couple finally reaches a consensus, with one party agreeing to disagree, ahhh.. that's when you know you have achieved something. For us, it's like we keep on making fun of/with each other and we always talk about stuff from A to Z. Best lah married life!!!!!
Why my hubby is the best hubby in the world?!?! Firstly, he really takes care of me and will never fail to include me in his daily life story. He tries to insert me in conversations, which I find quite amusing, though I admit I am really shy at times when he does that. For example, "My wife also did this this this......." Secondly, he always entertain me!!! And we will end up entertaining each other with our silly jokes. He is street-smart and also book-smart. He loves being among friends and is so people-oriented. He works his ass off but also spends enough time with me and MIL. He has seen me at my worst and at my prettiest.
He understands the trials and tribulations of a wife. When he knows that I am busy with work/school, he took the initiative to do the laundry, iron the clothes, wash the toilet, vacuum the floor and do basic housework. And I am very appreciative of him doing that. I can see the sparkle in his eyes when we talk about children. He NEVER fails to SMS me every single working day. "Dear I'm on my way to work." and "Dear I have reached work already. Love you... etc etc." By doing this, I am worry-free and knows that he is safe. I reciprocate the same too. The previous post is a very apt example of marriage. =) Am loving that image.
There's lots more I could say, but I do have to ensure that I don't foster any egotism. Just one more thing. He does not forget about our wedding anniversary. He spurs on just to get me a belated present. I did not ask for it and was quite comfortable with my old Sony Ericsson K610i phone. Furthermore, i do not want the hassle of adapting to using a new phone. But then, he insisted that he buys for me this...... . . . . . . . . . . . .
Back from Shanghai Night and Chocolate Mousse pleases my palette and soul.
What happened before this....... I was working from 7am to 2pm. Went to the library to return overdue books, bought a last minute accessory and then headed home by 3.30pm. Showered and went to Tampines Mart to find a last minute salon to style my hair. Reached home by 4.30pm and I had only 1 hour plus to make up and get changed! Rush Rush. I did my own make-up in that 1 hour and prayed that nothing will go wrong. Luckily nothing went wrong: Eyelashes sticks, contact lens non-irritable, eyebrows are even, face contoured, powder and blusher an even tone. Kudos!!! Took a cab to Meritus Mandarin Hotel and reached on time. Phew! That was close. So the night was spent snapping away.....
Me with Yani.
Me with Hui Eng.
Me with Ivy, Jennfer and Faye.
Me with Michelle and Shahidah!
With a few of my DPTP23 coursemates.
A lovely night.
If you're wondering why they're wearing Cheongsam, the theme was Shanghai Night. And we're to be dressed in Black, Red and Gold. The rest of the pictures turned out quite dark due to no flash. =( Sorry!
Mom treated us to Newton's Seafood for Hon's belated Birthday. Thank You, Mom! We ordered a feast for 4, at Hon's special favourite vendor. I prefer Dad smiling like that. Seems cartoony. Haha!
And the food is served! Here we have the siput sedut cooked in black sauce. I thought Lemak would taste better. But oh well, we can't be choosers. Hon's fave vegetable, the Kailan. And the Sambal Stingray is heavenly I tell you!!! Medium is not enough! I think I can eat the whole plate of Sambal Stingray just like that. Mouth-wateringly Superb!!
And here comes the King. Chilli Crab. Huge fleshy claws that just melts in your mouth. And the fried bread aka mantau (is that what you call it?) is a MUST to eat with the chilli crab.
You can still see the smoke wafting through the air from the dish.
Look at how big the fleshy crab claw is. Well, it isn't snow crab, which is even more expensive and fleshier. Sri Lankan crabs soothes the throat just fine. =)
One last look.... Whop!!!!! Hold it, hold it, HOLD IT THERE!! Something looks familiar in this picture. Can you guess what it is? . . . . . . . . . . . . . Let's try that again. . . . . . . . . . . One more time..
Did the poll on the left? There you go! Rings a bell, doesn't it? Well, the answer is this! Crab's Claw! hehehe! Thanks to those who did the poll. 11% voted for fish eggs, 33% voted for Jupiter ad Sun in the Solar System. 11% voted for sperm going into an egg. !?!??! 33% got it right and 11% said none of the above. Good try folks! Another Guess the Picture Game coming up soon!
Mac & cheese, the all-American favourite. I decided to give it a go. It SHOULD be easy, I thought. Did a research over the Internet and came across a recipe I thought I could try out. Bought the ingredients and it's time to roll. Mustard and Worcestershire Sauce really adds a twang to it. Oh yes, the breadcrumbs really makes a difference too.
So here are the ingredients all laid out. I foresee it's gonna be rich and creamy. Wanted to buy non-fat, but full cream beckons.
First we melt the butter, then add flour. Love that smell.... aaah.
Add milk, W Sauce and mustard and stir. Add cheese and let it melt.
Meanwhile, boil the macaroni. Lay them out nicely on a baking tray.
Pour the cheese sauce over the macaroni and add MORE CHEESE!
Sprinkle heaps of breadcrumbs over it and bake! Just wanna brown the top so have the oven at high for ten mins flat.
Walah! Cheesy melting Mac & Cheese! Eat it while it's hot or it will be very MUAK.
The past few weeks have been bz bz bz.... I have been appointed a class of 15 of my own 3-year-old children. Hectic schedules, with little time to even breathe!! Spent a lot of time at work and also setting up my classroom... Went back to work on Saturday and stayed till late. As much as I am excited, I am also nervous. A lot of things ran through my mind. But I will keep positive, no doubt. This is my bare little space.
Busy Busy Bee...
Finally 40% done. More to come for sure. Needed a rest.
I love Art & Crafts, so i thought of doing up a tactile piece. Shreds of coloured paper...
Then came the glue and picks.
Tadaaaa!! My End-Product.
Lots of junk pieces from my kitchen being used. And I have a whole big bag more. Seriously, I have turned into a JUNK collector. Oh God. Save the room from Garbage.
I have a lot of things to blog about, and so does the Hubby. *Looks at Hon* We are very excited for the upcoming new year. =) But as always, SheZai likes it slow and steady to be ready. I've already found more than 10 strands of white hair protruding from the back of my head! I am getting old. =(
When I started out blogging 6 years ago, I was still naive and wanted to join the blogging craze. So I set up a couple's blog with my hubby-then-boyfriend. Blogging about our lives, any exciting events or even random stuff. As the years go by and we got married, I soon realise that I am wasting my time blogging. Time=Money. I thought.. if I can't utilise my time with anything fun and exciting, then it is so not worth it. Don't get me wrong, we do LOVE blogging to the strangers in the world out there. We even have weird word-searches that directs the nut-brainer to this blog; such as "girls with short skirts on MRT" or "how to please husband" or "pamela chong cleavage" being the latest one from Indonesia. Sheesh!! If it were so easy to be directed to this blog, we might as well blog more often!
So I began to do my research on how to profit out of blogging. And one fine day, I came across Nuffnang. I admit I was skeptical at first because making money out of the Internet was always a hoax. But I went with my gut feel and trusted Nuffnang!! I thought adverts would look super duper Fugly on blogs, with pop-ups and what nots. But Nuffnang was so cleancut. Blog advertising has never been so easy!! Setting up was a breeze! I started out earning measly cents for placing adverts. I nearly wanted to give up and try others, but I realised that I have to be strategic in my placement of ads to earn more. And not only are the ads NOT Fugly, they are very Singapore-based too, which I LOVE!!! Then I became more interested in their company and I SUPER-ENVY other famous bloggers who get to do advertorials to earn money on their blogs or even go to Nuffnang events to mingle. They even give out freebies!! I have never trusted any other blog advertising community except for Nuffnang. And I am not the kinda person who trust anyone that easily.
My ultimate long-term dream would be to be sponsored to travel around the world with my husband to Honeymoon destinations (or even nearby countries for that matter), and blog about the amazing trips...... I know, I know.... Humongous FAT, OBESE chance. But nonetheless, I LOVE NUFFNANG!! Cashing out soon, Kching Kching!! SheZai has made a name for itself too. =) I guess there are not many couple blogs out there too, what more one that has been blogging for 6 years. =D True? The more we wanna win the 'Couples Retreat' tickets! We're a couple who loves to retreat!
P/S: Haha! See the poll on the left? It's SheZai's Guess the pic game again Part 2! Answers please! (So easy to create a poll with Nuffnang too!)
It took me 2 days to research for the best price and package 2 weeks before our departure: Online prices, hotel and coach prices, packages, convenience, online reviews and all the what-nots. Just my luck when I found a gem among the many travel agents at Golden Mile. S$180/pax for a 2-way coach and 2 nights stay at Renaissance Hotel. That is considered a superb deal if you do the math. Well, what can i say, it's my Hubby's birthday as well as our 2 year wedding anniversary. We Should celebrate. =) When I did my reservation with the travel agent Uncle, I tried asking for a double decker coach, but he said the price is not worth it since we spend only 5 hrs in the coach. Taking a double decker coach to KL was what Hon has always wanted. But too bad, no luck. When the day of departure came, I asked the Uncle,"So how, Uncle? How many people going? What's our seat number?" He replied," Lu dua orang sama lagi satu orang saja... jadi lu chinchai chinchai suka 'ati duduk mana lu suka laaa. Gua kasi lu double decker bus." I can never forget that line. Haha!!! Comical. Imagine our surprise. Only 3 passengers in a coach. Fuh! Best!
Just the 3 of us. So we sat at the most front seat. Forgive the obscenity of our freedom to put our legs up. =P Once we reached the hotel, we checked in.
Our free Buffet Breakfast area...
Hotel Grounds
Our poolview room
We headed out to lunch since were famished! Of course, the first choice would be.... Nando's chicken, as always. Would never miss this out for the world. I love the extra hot periperi!
Next day, we headed to Pavilion to do some shopping madness! Pavilion is the new KLCC. Pavilion is the new ION of KL. Endless storeys of shopping galore! We recce the place and loved it. Tis' the season to burn a hole in your pocket. Shoppaholics will go crazy in here, trust me. Sale season too!
Out shopping again the next day. Look at my messy unruly hair. It's time to do something about it. So i rebonded it for only RM129!! While I rebonded my hair (which took 3 restless hours), Hon was busy shopping for his 'Birthday Presents' from me. My Hon can really shop!! Even I lose in that area! And I'm a woman! I gave him a budget of 'ahem ahem' dollars, and zoom he went shopping from shop to shop. In the end, he got what he wanted... and I'm happy!
We surveyed KLCC and we can't find anything from there...From Left: KLCC, Sungei Wang, Outside Pavilion...
Who could resist A&W? Coney Dog, Curly Fries and Root beer float!!!!!
On our third and last day, our pockets were all holed out.... Our bus will be coming to fetch us at 3pm. We had to be at the lobby by 2.30pm. And it was 1.30pm. We were bored of shopping. It was a spur of the moment. We need activities to keep us sane. Since we have already checked out from the room, we can't possibly go back to the hotel and rest. Rest is not in our dictionary for that moment. We wanted to explore more. Then we saw that KLCC has this Underwater World thingy called Aquaria. Very spontaneously, we went for it. Let the pictures below do the talking, I'm quite daft explaining about marine creatures. Or more so.. I'm not a marine biologist. It was beautiful...... Next mini-trip will be an underwater adventure for sure. =)
Piranhas and baby crocodile
Frogs' eggs and Before-Tadpoles
Tadpoles without legs and Tadpoles with legs.
Baby frog and Adult frog... Ribbit! Ok ... this is good material for teaching Science! Life Cycle of a Frog... Sigh... reminds me of my tutoring days...i miss it.

I have a love for turtles.... and the enormous fish again!!
Wanna know how big it is? The fish talking to the boy in red. I grant you 3 wishes...Your wish is my command.... Arrrghh!! My mind is corrupted with children's stories la! Excuse me!
Yup! It's THAT big! Can cook buffet dinner for 20. On the right are jellyfishes! Would love to have one at my home as an interior decor... would be kinda cool yea!! See them floating around in the circle.. hehehe!
A lovely pair of seahorses... wrapped around each other... On the right is fiery red shrimp!
